Never ending story..
The search for the ultimate GTD tool continues...
Nirvana is the best web tool, it´s beats even some of the
"big ones" Things and OmniFocus...
But, I really need a good tool for my Android to, I almost made the
jump to GetItDone the other day because of the Evernote integration
and an Android native app. But the GetItDone web interface
sucks..it´s slow and buggy for who is used to Nirvanas snappy
and beautiful interface.
I´m now looking at Nozbe, again..it´s kind of
expensive, but the Evernote integration and Android app is there,
Yes I know they don´t handle the Inbox the right way, but it
runs on my phone on the move, Nirvana unfortunately
don´t.
Thinking of Utopia... A world of Evernote integration and iPhone,
iPad and Android apps for Nirvana..it would be so great, but
I´m getting tired of the "+1" in the phone thread....

Diane,
it's the HTC Desire HD, quite a new phone so there really shouldn't be a problem as far as software is concerned. I would guess it may just be dialect or accent causing the problem as I am Europe based.

Oh I wonder if the accent is it? Maybe Google Voice is biased LOL

That's a thought maybe I'll start speaking with an American twang when recording voice notes. Google probably thinks the world ends at the Pacific ocean. Isn't that the way most Americans think :)

Read some of Proximo´s threads in the Toodledo forum, really liked the setup, and there are good apps for Android that supports Toodledo. But, if Proximo ditched Toodledo for Nirvana....=)

I am a former Toodledo user so I know that there are lots of good native apps which sync with it. I just don't like Toodledo web interface which requires too many fields to be in view to work effectively as there is no drag and drop facility. It's a good tool if you can live with the UI but I can't.
I am currently using Gqueues which is a bit garish with all the colours but it's fast and effective and has the best integration with Google Calendar I've seen. Nirvana will be serious competition when the native app side is sorted.

Toodledo is just plain ugly!
Gqueues is nice and very customizable but does not work out of the box too
much set-up for me.
Smartytask is the best out of the box, clean UI, GTD true, works across
platforms option I have found.

@diane But it´s $9.99 a month, and no forum or community, thats a no go for me.

I thought so at first too. Check out my comments earlier in this thread to
see why I changed my mind. I do think not having a forum full
of everyones comments and input is why they were able to develop a solid
clean app so quickly. Sometimes I think the Nirvana team is trying to hard
to please everyone which slow development and clutters up the UI.
