Just thought I'd be the first to say it (after the Nirvana team of course), there is a new version of Nirvana now :-)!

I think I caused this release.... I had been waiting so long, so I exported my data from Nirvana 2 into ToodleDo and then BAM, a new Nirvana comes out! ;-)

ToodleDo called my name as it has just had a facelift.

    What I like there:
    * a lot of customizations for sorting (but no manual sorting) * email reminders and daily Hotlist (very important! although i don't like how they format it) * smaller printing that fits a long list on a page (this is very important to me). * real mobile application (that is pretty darn good)

I am about to give up on Nirvana pending how well the new ToodleDo goes. There is a lot to like about Nirvana, but for me the emailing and printing are critical.

Hope to see those features soon!

    Rob.

Meh, I just looked at new Toodledo, they still don't do GTD as perfect as Nirvana does and as elegant, however their interface looks 1000x better than it use to. I don't like how they don't handle projects with tasks inside, you have to hack it up, I was using the Proximo way of Toodledo and that way was better but not as good as Nirvana out of the box. Now that build 269 is out, I really think Nirvana is a perfect solution for me, even if they didn't add any new features. I don't need email remainders as I log into Nirvana first thing when I am ready to work, plus if it is truly important it goes on my calendar to remind me on my iPhone. I actually prefer the mobile version of Nirvana on my iPhone over a native app. It works really well, and when new versions come out, I just have it, don't have to update the app.

@travis, you are right about one thing, even with the redesign, Toodledo has a different look and style than nirvana. With Toodledo you have do edit and refresh a lot.

I really like the Nirvana drag and drop style better, and the Project support too.

I am just eager for the Nirvana to get some of these features.

Is there another new version due shortly? I honestly expected some calendar integration at least seeing as there was talk of going live shortly. Is this a phased upgrade?

Expectations have been set that there is a big release coming corresponding to coming out of Beta. Specific timing or features is mostly speculation. Everyone has their wish lists!
