W00T!!! YES! Fantastic! I can't even begin to express my excitement about build 279. Batch edit has finally arrived!
At first I wasn't sure if that's really what the blog post meant because the announcement was so low-key like this was some minor update. For myself at least this is the best new feature since I've started to use Nirvana. Finally using tags will be much easier!
As for the way this feature works: I hope some day you'll change the multi-select-method (from dragging the cursor around the handles to Ctrl- or Shift-clicking the tasks) and I hope you'll add the option to change multiple dates as well (even though I don't use due dates very much). But these are really very minor issues. So for now, let me just say a big THANK YOU for this feature and for constantly making the best GTD app even better!

yes great news and a very useful update - thanks Nirvana team!

I have one wish for this new feature: can you please make it possible to make multiple changes to selections without the items being unselected?

I often want to add a few tags and set energy level. For each of these tasks I have to select actions, make the change, select them again, make the second change, etc. Instead, the right-click menu shouldn't disappear after I make an edit. Making it much faster!

+1 from me too - it's on the list

but then some folks will not like that either, because then we'd need you take a second action to know when you're done (Esc or whatever) or have an additional key, like Save & Continue

poco a poco (little by little)

Build 279 is great - I think it might be the tag management improvements- but with that bit of polishing it actually now feels ready to me.

Thanks David to you and Elbert and the team. Roll on the launch.
