OT: One Tap Mail question

I know some here use One Tap Mail to quickly send an email to Nirvana. In an old thread someone [Lasse] described One Tap Mail that once you sent the first message you would be automatically returned to One Tap Mail already set for the next message.

I just downloaded it and it does not work that way, it leaves me in my email Inbox. Are others using it and that is the behavior you see?

I have also tried MailMe but was comparing the two.

Thanks,
Rob.

Try Captio - that works exactly as you describe and it's my most used app!

One Tap Mail works exactly as you described for me.

You need to make sure the Nirvana email is already setup in the main template.

The first email works fine, but then i am left in the inbox rather than being at the point to send another. Proximo, are you saying you can do one after the other from One Tap Mail?

    Thanks,
    Rob.

    @rfo,

Yes. You can enter one though after the other, non-stop.

No field to change, no button to hit. After I hit send, I am back in the typing portion of the subject ready for the next though or idea that's in my head.

thanks for confirming. That is what I want but it is not working for me. Maybe I have a newer version that works differently. Hmmmm.

I keep my apps updated daily. So I am always running the latest version. The only thing I setup in the settings was the Nirvana email to be default when the app opens. This opens the app in the subject line and when I hit enter It takes me back to the subject line of the next email I want to send. I never have to enter an email address since Nirvana is setup as the default entry in settings.

    Mystery solved.

You are using a different app.

Here is the weird thing. I just searched for the app I have and it's no where to be found on the app store. They must have stopped making it.

The icon and actual app UI is completely different.

At this point I would have to say that @Chris Webb has the best alternative which is Captio. Have not used it but it sounds like it does the same thing. My 1Tap Mail still works perfect so I am sticking with it.

I went with Captio and it works great, as described.

1TapMail, the product I got by mistake, allows you to set up multiple icons on your device each with different email addresses. When you click it drops you into the email app with the address filled in. So i t might be helpful to some, but I like the Captio model better (one email, but able to go one after the other)

    good news @rfo

1Tap Mail does exactly the same thing but it's no longer under development of offered in the app store. I think the 1 Tap Mail app you purchased should have used a different name and not try to pretend they are someone else.

Captio is the better choice for any new users looking for this functionality. The original 1Tap Mail still works perfectly, so I will stick with it.
