Gotta say, it looks pretty good. I can see it taking off. Too soon to tell if it can hold a candle to the mighty Nirvana.

Aye - I looked at the presentation video last night, and it does look slick and so forth, but it didn't seem that it's GTD focused at all.

It'll be interesting to see (as and when I get my beta invite) just what functionality it has.

Wunderkit was never made for GTD. Most people use apps like this and tweak them to work for GTD. This is the advantage that Nirvana has and with the official release around the corner, I am excited about Nirvana the most.

Social is nice but as a Professional using GTD is about simplicity in design to make it effective for everyday use. I don't need the Social hooks for my GTD. I have Facebook, Twitter and Google+ for this. What I need is a straight forward GTD based productivity app that makes productivity simple and this is what Nirvana does best.

I have tried several productivity tools that focused too much on the Social front and did not care for them. I can't have my friends know about my projects and they can't help me complete them. I don't share personal projects for the same reasons. If Wunderkit is going to focus too tightly on Social, it will be nothing more than a productivity app for people in College.

Time will tell but I have seen this before and I don't like it or need it.

Nirvana is going live soon, mobile apps are coming and some of the major features we have been asking for are also on the horizon. In it's current state Nirvana is still better than anything out there and I can only expect it to be better when all the things mentioned above come to pass.

I wholeheartedly agree -- Nirvana is THE BEST! I am so much looking forward to the iPhone app!

I think the word "social" is overdone with respect to these tools. In my view, you have an individual tool or you have a team tool. A team tool is much more complex in what it needs to do. Both genres have to identify their target audiences and create tight feature sets for those audiences (i.e. don't try to be all things to all people).

I appreciate Nirvana for keeping good focus.

    I agree 100%

Nothing wrong with adding features to collaborate with others, but if the focus is too much on the Social end, it tends to loose the simplicity and control for what matters most.

I saw the video for Wunderkit and I can't say too much about it until I try it out, but it seems that the Social hook is the main focus and not good and simple Project management. I don't want to create a new Workspace/Project and have them all live in the left Navi with no good way of creating my GTD lists.

This is from the perspective of a GTD user of course, but I figured most people using Nirvana fall into this category. There are different tools for different purposes, but trying to be a jack of all trades, usually means you the master of none.

    Time will tell.
