Hi Elbert, if possible could you give an updated estimate as to when the migrations will start and how long they might take?

Not looking for an assurance or a promised date - rather whether you think it will be more like the next 3 days or 10 for example.

If only so that I can stop refreshing safari on my iPhone or chrome on my laptop literally every hour - not that my whole life has been put on hold for this, no no that would be sad and ridiculous

Cheers
Kenny

I'm experiencing the following issues.. anyone else?

    • tasks show up but projects NOT listed on left navi column
    • can't add new tasks
    • screen freezes and then goes blank - can't get back to app.nirvanahq.com unless I re-clear the cache

Tried clearing cache several times and tried a different browser, didn't help. Any suggestions? Nirvana1 still intact and working properly. Thanks..

@Proximo - thanks for that! And it would appear that the CTRL DOES work to allow selection of non-adjacent items. Do as you instructed me to do to 'highlight' one item, then move your mouse to the next required item, hold down control and do the same.

Wow, I did not think of trying the Ctrl method by dragging the window.

It does work and I will have to say that it's a TERRIBLE implementation. Who in the world will drag a window over each drag handle while holding down Ctrl on the keyboard and expect it to work?

    I guess Chris, but that's it. :-)

What a terrible way of selecting multiple task. I hope this changes because it does not work like any other software I have ever used.

@prox - and how do you select multiple non-contiguous items on your windows desktop? perhaps it's a mac thing...

@Elbert I think what Proximo meant is selecting non-contiguous items by holding control AND drawing a box around each task handle. What would make more sense to me is to select tasks by clicking on the drag handle, using shift-click to select contiguous regions and control-click to select non-contiguous regions and combining this with drawing a box to select multiple tasks at once.

Anyone that tried Shift and Command first and then tries Control?

Most software allows you to do multiple selects by using one of those keys. Like in Windows Explorer, the Finder, or Nautilus/Thunar/any-other-UNIX-file-manager or any other graphical representation of an object that you can interact with.

@convexcube - i agree, clicking directly on the drag handle, with shift-click selecting contiguous items in-betweem and ctl-click for individual selection/deselection would be ideal. working on it. also, we're working on keyboard navigation to do multi-selects as well - up/down arrows to highlight a task, enter to open the edit view. shift-arrow up/down to select contiguous tasks... you get the idea. that and multi-select + right-click to modify the selected items in one shot -- like selecting 10 items and assigning all of them to an AoR etc etc.

I migrated to Nirvana 2 while at work, now I am home and I am still on Nirvana 1. Refreshing as much as I can doesn't change that. What do I do? Is it safe to 'migrate' again?
