Signup for people wanting to be Beta testers for the Nirvana iOS native mobile app is now open.

We are using a testing service called TestFlight (testflightapp.com)

We will be activating beta testers in groups – the first group will be small; around 10 people.

After the initial group, we'll add a larger number of people to the team, probably in a couple weeks or so after the first group..

Not everyone who registers will be included in the Beta testing as there are a limited number of positions available.

When you go to the signup link, make sure you are registering with the device(s) you intend to use in the Beta test. Please use the email address associated with your Nirvana account, and that it is accessible from your iOS device.

We expect to release one or more builds a week. Please don't signup for the beta unless you have the time to keep up and provide feedback.

You will receive a notification via email each time we release a new build - with a link to install ! Easy peasy.

We will allow 10 - 14 days for registration before we send out the first install links, so everyone who wants to register has a chance to get signed-up.

You must be on an N2 account to participate.

Here is the link for the signup form: http://bit.ly/zXHyy8

Let us know if you have any questions.

I em testing the app on an iPad right now as I do not have
an iPhone either. I love the flexibility with Android so I will be sticking
    with that for my phone.

I can say though if the eventual Android app is as good as this iOS app all
the Android Nirvana clan will be quite pleased.

Any news on how the first beta group is going or when the group may be expanded?

I'm dying to get my hands on it. I use the web app daily and would definitely use the iOS app (iPhone 4) daily as well.

I'm all registered on TestFlight. wink

Do you take bribes? Giddy with anticipation to try the iPhone app. Had left Nirv for a bit due to the lack of iphone app, been back and absolutely loving what I'm seeing with the current release. Thrilled to see so much progress and a stunning interface.

I take bribes, but they usually don't change my behavior in the intended manner and tend not to be satisfactory for the payor.

@David P, et al - the beta is going well. I'm going to add a brief post separately to update folks.

I'm not sure how I missed this - I've been lurking for a long time waiting for an app. I do love the mobile website but like others I've been very much looking forward to being able to add, edit and view tasks when offline. I spend a lot of time travelling in my job so I'm in and out of signal and often rely on mobile apps.

I've registered as a beta tester - I'd really love to help out.

I'm a blogger and I reviewed Nirvana a while ago - since then I've recommended Nirvana to a number of people (I give presentations and seminars on productivity and organising yourself) but the killer feature they mention which is missing is often a mobile app. It would be great if I could write a follow up review on my blog about the mobile app.

How is the app beta going, and are you looking for more beta testers? I signed up when the sign up was first posted, have Test Flight installed, but never got an invite.

    Thanks,

I signed up right away, have Test Flght. (Can't tell if it works). The current mobile site works badly on my iPad and iPhone (mainly blurry unreadable text). I will thoroughly test this app for you as I will use it everyday on two devices. Please add me asap!

    Thanks.
