Windows Phone 7 IE support? (Nirvana mobile)
Will it be supported on wp7 devices? Because, there aren't any alternatives to IE Browser on this platform (I don't include those browser alternatives which are based on IE itself). It's a little bit disappointing, that WP7 owners will have to wait until alternative browsers will be available on this platform as well.
But there is a good side as well - Now I can easily decide which application I should create first on WP7 platform :).

It's all a preference in the end, but to me widgets look ugly floating on the screen and don't provide any real value to me.
Live tiles are widgets but they blend in with the UI nicely. I would prefer a widget model like WP Tiles compared to the inconsistency of the Android widgets. Every widget in Android looks different and nothing looks like it belongs to one unified UI.
Ice Cream Sandwich is already a mess. The UI with in the OS is not even consistent. you can tell that different teams worked on different areas of the OS. The UI looks and behaves differently inside the OS itself. This is the nature of a fully open system with no quality control. I think Google realizes this and are slowly trying to take a little more control from their end, but I don't see it happening anytime soon and it may never happen.
There are no rules for manufacturers or providers with Android. Them implement their own UI or Themes. They add bloat ware apps into the OS and in many cases you can't un-install them. I love and use all Google services but the open Linux style model of Android is a mess. I will keep my eye out for Android as it changes and maybe one day they will fix many of the issues related to the platform, but until that happens, I choose technology that works consistently and well.
:-)
I am trying to be careful from derailing this too far from the topic, but I think it all ties into the platforms available. Use what you like is the only rule to live by.

sulehri,
I haven't seen Live Tiles yet, I guess it must be a relatively recent development providing a similar experience to widgets.
Proximo,
I get what you are saying about widgets, there have been some very poor excuses trying to pass off as widgets from developers. That said, there are some really fantastic ones around as well. I use a 4x2 Calendar widget (Calengoo) above a 4x2 task list widget (GTO) on one of my screens on my HTC. Both apps not only look great but it means I can glance at my screen and see everything I need to without even hitting a button. One tap on the + symbol in the GTO app and I can add a new task right there. If you use your phone a lot like I do every little improvement to speed of use is like gold dust.
That said, Apple products do have a reputation for beautiful products which is well deserved...but at £15 a month less I'm happy enough with my HTC Desire :-)

@AJS
Don't get me wrong. I know there are many fantastic apps and widgets on Android. It's just the lack of consistency between manufacturer's, providers and OS versions that I don't care for.
When shopping for an Android phone, I had too many choices if that's possible. I had so many hand sets, screen sizes, Custom UI by providers, bloat ware by providers and the worst thing of all. The same provider had many phones with different versions of Android with no assurance that I could upgrade later.
It's just too crazy for me. A larger screen is not always better either. I can do everything with one hand on my iPhone. I can reach the bottom left of the screen to the top right of the screen with my thumb. This is a design decision that Apple made that many people don't think about until they have a huge brick in their hands and need to hands to operate it. LOL
I still have high hopes for Android and keep an eye out for them. I am typing this on my CR-48 Chromebook and use ALL Google Services. Too bad they went the open source direction with it. :-(

@AJS:
Then try it out, the overall integration of the system is much better than in Android and nothing seems out of place. Having said that, I still like Android due to the extent of customization available in it (the same reason for which it is not appreciated by Proximo).
But the best OS imho will be, one having the UI of Windows Phone, Program MAnagement of MeeGo and market of Apple :)

Is there any progress with Windows Phone 7 IE version?

@Martin - not at this point.
I suspect that won't come up for review for some time yet.
