My daily recurring tasks were were listed in the Next List, as they should be, but not of them were tagged with a "star" to show up in the Focus list.

    I had the same issue, though 2 of my 6 tasks set to recur today did show up with the focus star.

    Yes, I have experience the "non-focus" issue as well -- it's on the list to look at.

    Thanks,
    David

    I'm experiencing this as well. it's very ignoring and Nirvana becomes not workable for me after this. can we have a fix ASAP? and provide an option to us to roll back to the previous version?

    Same problem here (for some but not all of my recurring tasks), and it is indeed quite an annoying bug ...

    It's getting serious. i have 50-60 daily recurring tasks and almost half of them not showing up in "focus" on a daily basis. quite annoying. would really appreciate if someone can find out how to fix it. many thx.

    Yeah I'm getting this too - I'm having to go to scheduled view to see what hasn't come through......scary

    Since the scheduled items are added to the bottom of the Next list I have just been going in to the bottom of the Next list each morning and dragging the tasks that are missing the star to Focus in the left navi. I am still a little worried about overlooking something, but this process works well for me while I wait for a fix.

    David, any updates on a fix for this?

    Sorry, David....really not trying to be an irritant. Know you guys are on this. It is a rather annoying bug, so any updates would be appreciated by many here, I suspect.

    This is more than annoying for me - I have critical tasks on recurring.......+1 for an emergency release

    How do you even set up a recurring task? When I schedule a task, I can't see any way to choose for it to repeat.

    @David:

    Move your task to Scheduled -> Make Repeating...

    If you can't see that option, you're probably still using Nirvana 1. Same thing happened to me. ;-)

    Thanks for the help. I must be on v1. Odd, I figured since I was only invited a couple of days ago, I'd be on the new/preview version. How do I get switched to v2?

    @David:

    These are the instructions I got from the other David:

    You'll need to do a data migration to start using N2.

    Please read this first, before you decide to migrate to N2, the migration link is in the FAQ section:
    http://help.nirvanahq.com/kb/site-updates/nirvana-2-preview

    To use N2, log in with your user name and password (not email address) at:
    https://app.nirvanahq.com/

    A couple things to remember; you need to manually change the email-to-inbox to use N2 - this is done through your account settings
    https://account.nirvanahq.com/ and make sure it says: Create New Tasks in › Nirvana 2 -- if not click on the link to change it.

    Thanks!

    An aside:
    I realize people have been waiting for years(?), but I can't wait for Nirvana to get out of beta, so I can pay and hopefully see features such as a native Android app.

    Something new happened to me today, presumably related to this bug. A scheduled task, non-recurring, with a due date, was shown red today (due date) without being put in focus.

    OK - new release this morning should have corrected this issue.

    If you encounter anything else amiss, please let us know -- and please start a new discussion (stating release/build number) as it helps to avoid confusion.

    Thanks,
    David
