Repeating task spawns one day after it is due
Hi all,
Since the latest set of releases(326-328) I have a repeating task that spawns one day after its scheduled date. It also has a due date on the same day.
Feels like a bug. But I have other daily tasks that do not show this problem. I'd appreciate it getting looked into.
Cheers!

I experienced exactly the same problem this morning.
I have a couple of weekly scheduled task that always shows up in my "focus" list on wednesday. Some of these tasks did show up in "focus" but another did not have the correct 'due date' and hence did not show up under 'focus'

Likewise. I had a daily repeating task that was generated without a due date at all, and so was not under "Focus." I had no problem with it yesterday, but I am on a different machine (but both on Chrome for Windows). I'll check my home machine later (Chrome for Linux).

Yes, you're right. I thought the task didn't spawn. But it did, it just doesn't have focus or a due date. That should help narrow down the bug.

Just to give an update on this, I do wonder if it is platform specific, or if it has to do with some caching problem - but this is not happening to me on every machine. I have three machines I regularly use. My home machine is running Ubuntu and Chrome, and my two work machines are Windows (one is XP, the other is 7), both running Chrome. Yesterday, I used my home machine and my XP office one. I had no problems with my recurring tasks - they all spawned correctly.
Today I'm back on the Win 7 machine, which is the one I was using when I initially posted here. My two daily tasks both spawned without a due date today. As a result, they appear in next, but not in focus. (I'm also totally missing a weekly repeating task, which does not appear in my scheduled list or my next list, but I'm not sure if this is related).
I'm not sure if this is related to switching machines (as I often have very small problems because of that - tasks being resurrected despite being completed the previous day on a different machine, etc. that I suspect are just a result of not clearing the cache regularly), or if it has to do with something about this machine in particular (again, Win 7 with Chrome).

Yeah, I had reported this the other day as well...this thread can probably be combined with the following...

Hi!
The same with me. Some recurring (everyday and weekly) tasks appear in Focus, but some not. This is crucial because I mainly focus on Focus :)

Turns out it is not platform specific, because now it happened today on my home machine (Chrome for Ubuntu). Now all of my daily repeating tasks are not showing up in Focus, and instead show up in Next without a due date.

Hi Nirvana support - is this bug recognized as something that should be fixed and is there an outlook when it will be fixed ? Basically this bug now forces me to review all my scheduled tasks on daily level because i cannot rely that they show up under 'focus'

David McLaughlin responded in this thread:

So it appears that they are aware of the problem. I agree it's a very annoying bug.
