Today List and Inactive Projects
I'd like to follow up on the issue discussed in the topic started by Sunni, http://help.nirvanahq.com/discussions/problems/158-odd-problem-toda... which is now closed.
I'm not able to recreate the behavior discussed and would like a clarification.
When a project has a due date in the past, the check box for the project turns red. This behavior applies to overdue Active and Inactive projects.
Likewise when I add an overdue task to a Project with no due date, the task is marked "overdue" and appears in the Today list as an overdue task. This behavior applies to Active and Inactive projects.
However, when I add a task with no due date to a project that is marked overdue, the task does not appear in the Today list.
That seems to contradict the discussion in the thread I linked above. Is it possible that the dateless task in the overdue project will be processed into the Today list during an overnight system update?
A bit confused on this one...

Hi DC...
this issue/behaviour will be resolved in the next release (coming soon promise!).
If a project has a due date, is overdue and contains tasks that have no due dates, the Project alone will now show up in Today. This way you'll have a visual clue that a project needs your attention. You can then click on the project name to view its remaining tasks.
The reason for this change is to avoid having a whole slew of tasks that don't have due dates showing up and being marked Today because their parent project is overdue. One then has to manually remove all these tasks from Today even if the Project's due date gets changed to a future date.
I hope this makes sense.
thanks
C
