I have a task in my Today folder which I decide to postone for some reason. I change the due date to a later date (tomorrow for instance). The task still appears in my Today folder. I would like it to disappear for today and reappear tomorrow.

The Today list isn't just for tasks that Due today. You may have something you're working on today that isn't due for three weeks, for example, but since you're working on it today, you'll want to have it in front of you today.

When you change the due date and no longer want the task in Today, you can simply remove it via the drop down menu on the right ("Remove from Today").

There are changes coming that will allow more options with respect to scheduling future tasks (e.g., start/tickle dates)
