IE 8
Hi,
I can only use IE 8 at work, and I cannot drag and drop a task
so as to create a project in IE 8, and Nirvana seems pretty slow in
IE 8, are there plans to resolve the IE 8 compatibility issues so I
can use Nirvana efficiently at work ?
Until then its back to Toodle(far too complicated)Do for me :-(
Thanks,
Derek.

hi derek...
We will be releasing a major release sometime next week (hopefully
sooner and hopefully not later!). This release will most likely solve
the issues you are citing. Watch out for a blog post/tweet once the
new version has released.
thx

That's great news! This is a long shot because I know you are focusing on core issues just now, but will the major release allow toodledo import?
Thanks again, Derek.

Hi deekod. I'd also like to see an import feature so I can really give Nirvana a full workout. At present I just don't have the time to manually enter and configure all of my tasks so I am only testing it with a small number of dummy tasks.
I also need table-based contexts, start dates on tasks, and recurring tasks before I can commit to going live with Nirvana. These are essential for me so I'm still running my life with Toodledo although I don't find it too complicated. While the UI is bit dated, it's a very mature system than can do everything I need. I am using the Toodledo Me Too sylish script (with a few of my own tweaks) which makes a big visual improvement. And running it in multi-line mode (rather than grid) makes the interface much simpler.

Hi, just wanted to say I am REALLY looking forward to the major release, IE8 compatibility issues are making me not want to use Nirvana at work, but I know the next release will be worth the wait.

The latest update is great, but until Nirvana works faster and smoother in IE8 I will have to drop Nirvana and use MLO at work :-(
