how to reproduce the issue:

  1. Click on task to edit, select "10 minutes" in Effort time and save

then I can see something like "10m" tag has been added and icon for time filter (top left)

  1. Open the same task again - effort time is empty. then save

"10 m" tag and time filter disappeared.

This comment was split into a new discussion: Automatically convert tags like "30m", "2h", etc. into the estimated time "special tags"

On a similar note: It would be nice if Nirvana could automatically convert tags like "30m", "2h", etc. into the estimated time "special tags". That way one could add those time estimates when adding tasks through the mobile website or email

Hi Stefan... thanks for reporting the bug. In going through the steps of recreating the bug, I noticed that the issue lies in the fact that the TIME drop down in edit mode isn't picking up the time you originally entered. In your case you saved your task again which then saved TIME = nothing, in mine, I canceled without editing any information and the 10m TIME was still there.

    Opening a bug report now.

@CJ... great idea. Will submit this as a request for improvement.
