Rearranging Project list seems to have glitch

With a long list of projects, I tried to move (drag) a project near the bottom of my list toward the top of the list (from the right side list, not the left navi). Three problems:
1. The page doesn't automatically scroll when the mouse gets near the top of the page (yet still not near the first item in the project list)
2. The item that is being dragged is not lined up with the mouse. In other words, the project that is being dragged and the mouse pointer become separated.
3. When clicking on the New Task button near the top of the page and using the resultant dialog box to create a task, the default place to "insert" the task is Inbox. But, when clicking on that pulldown list, the projects are NOT listed in alphabetical order (which is how I rearranged them in the navi list)- rather it looks like the order in which they were captured. This makes it very difficult to find the project for which the task should belong.

Running Firefox 3.6.6.

Also, is there an option to automatically show the project list (left side navi and right side list) in alphabetical order. This is what I'm trying to do with my manual dragging - would be great if could be automated.

Thanks much, and looking forward to future features/fixes. Great product!

Along the same lines as noted above, when trying to move a task into a project, clicking on the right "Move to Project" arrow, if the list of projects is more than a few (and the task you are attempting to move is near the bottom of the page), then the list of projects gets cut off with no opportunity to scroll to additional projects.

I see the same thing as #2, but within a list. So when I try to rearrange tasks within my Today list (or any list), the task being moved doesn't line up with the mouse.

It does not do this when I'm at the top of the list, but as soon as I'm scrolled down in the list a bit and can't see the Quick Task bar, it's like it gets disoriented and the image of the task being moved is about 3 inches above where the mouse is (making it a little weird to rearrange).
Word doc with screenshot and quick explanation attached.
    FireFox 3.5.10

Love the product, this is certainly a very minor issue.

Yes, thanks for reminding us. This is a known issue with FireFox. The WebKit browsers (Chrome/Safari) don't exhibit this glitch, which is why it kinda slipped off our radar. Will look into it.

@agold - your point #3 is also something we are addressing... and is a problem across the board for all browsers.

By the way, sort position in Nirvana is synonymous with priority... so sorting alphabetically is something we may offer in the future, but it kinda goes against our design! high priority at the top, lower priority as the list descends.

Thanks much Elbert. The product is superb - I'm a happy user. One question though: while I agree with "sorting" of tasks being synonymous with "priority", I don't follow that logic for projects. Projects are all the things we've "committed" to some outcome (requiring more than one task to complete). With 150-200 average projects with all being "commitments", not sure that prioritizing projects makes sense. During the weekly review, I go through my entire project list and certainly identify and prioritize tasks that need to be done to move projects forward. So, in general I don't really care about project order list, except when I'm assigning a new task to a project, it's nice to quickly get through a list of 150 to find the one project I'm looking for. Hopefully my rambling makes sense. Perhaps rather than a pulldown box for projects, just a search box - then can just type in a few characters and the relevant projects show up - then won't need to worry about any sorting order. Anyway, food for thought.

@agold - your logic makes sense, and you're not the first person to make the case! will have to give this some thought as to how we'd implement this... thanks again.
