Tips & Tricks: Iphone app 'Mailme'
Hi,
I've found an app in the appstore named Mailme. The app can only send a mail with a subject to a specified mail address.
this is how you can send a mail to your Nirvana inbox really fast! It's a bit expensive 1,59 euro (only sends a subject to 1 mail address) but for me, it's simplicity is perfect.
Hope it could help to speed up your workflow.

Well, there've got to be some advantages to having an Android phone! :) But jokes aside, I don't think what you describe is possible with the iPhone - even though it should be... At least I tried to make it work but couldn't.

@Michael
Lasse and I have iPhones. We only get to do what Steve Jobs thinks it's best. I dare you talk about the freedom to customize and get innovative with your device.
I am obviously kidding. This is what I like about Android, but I am still waiting for the OS to get a little better. The iPhone is so dead simple, that my 3 year old knows how to find apps, launch them and move them around. I even caught her playing with folders the other day. Dragging one icon on top of the other and she was having fun.
P.S. My 3 year old has her own iPhone 3G. I have it setup up like an iPod Touch. This is what happens when your Dad is a Tech Geek. :-)

Ah yes, kids and the iPhone. My 2 year old daughter has recently discovered the trash can button. Unfortunately I only found out about it after I had synced my (remaining) photos and videos with iTunes! This is what happens when Dad is a Tech Geek who doesn't think before he acts! :)

So basically what we're saying is, if you want to keep your phone data intact, go with android, since no kid really wants to play with it anyway. ;-)
My 18-month old could care less about my Nexus One. Loves my wife's white iPhone. And of course the iPad, he believes, belongs to him. Which I suppose it does at this point. Gets more milage out of it than the rest of us anyway.

Can't argue with how simple and great the iOS devices are. Although I am a tech geek, I am starting to appreciate something that just works well. Kinda like Nirvana.

Can anyone tell me how OneTapMail behaves when the iphone has no wifi or 3g access? i.e. does it still work offline and queue the mails.
I only need to use it when I have no internet access - otherwise I'm happy to use nirvana mobile
Yes that's how tight I am - I don't want to spend the £0.59 to find out myself!

@Kenny,
It's hard for me to test this because I am never in a situation where 3G does not work. Wifi is just an added bonus due to the speed. :-)
Maybe someone in a bad area can check for this. I figured if 3G failed, you should at least get EDGE. Not sure how you would loose your complete internet connection to your iPhone.

The email goes via the standard email app, so it gets queued in there. It may get sent in the background next time you get some 3G or it may wait until you next open mail, not sure... but i dont think it will get lost completely

@Proximo - no worries, thanks for the response anyway. There are times when I don't have any signal, even EDGE - maybe at the gym or when I've put my phone in to airplane mode at night
@martin - thanks, makes sense. Sounds like money well spent

@Kenny Grant.
Did not think about the Airplane mode. :-)
I live in Dallas, TX which obviously has great at&t reception. As you may know, the at&t Headquarters is in Dallas, TX.
I think we have a 3G antenna on all the cars in Dallas. :-)

Ha ha I'd ask you to ship some of those cars over to the North of England - but I don't think they'd fit on our roads :)
