can not sign in
Just signed up and confirmed my email with you. Got your info from LifeHacker. I used Outlook for my email and have MSN as my homepage. I definitely have IE8 but when I attempt to sign in I continually get the error message that I ahve an older version web browser and need to upgrade to IE8. Please advise

Hi Dale -
You may have "compatibility mode" turned on, in which case Nirvana will think you are running IE7. Try turning "compatibility mode" off and let us know if you're still having problems.

Do not have compatibility mode on. I didn't even know what that was but looked at the tools/internet options box and there is no check mark by that choice

It might be because you are running nirvana as a homepage in outlook. Outlook uses its own word engine for HTML right?
Can nirvana be set as a home page from within outlook? Allowing people to integrate tasks with nirvana, with outlook email and calender and RSS via google reader.
I tried to set this us and god the IE 7 message.
