Getting-Started-Video not visible
Hello everybody
I´m new at nirvana und tried to watch the "Getting-Started"-Video - but it´s invisible. I only see a blank white space on the page, where the video should appear...
Any suggestions, what´s wrong here?
Thanks in advance
Michael

@Michael,
If it's not your browser, then it must be the hosting server for the video.
If it's not up by tonight, I will create a video for you.

Hi Proximo,
thanks for your quick answer. Actually I don´t think it´s a browser-related problem. I already tried different browser (Firefox, Safari, IE) on several computers - always the same problem.
Perhaps there´s really something wrong with the hosting serer...

@Michael,
I just played the video with no problems this morning. Last night I answered your post on my iPhone and could not verify.
I don't know why you can't play the video. It's not your browser, so you may want to check a plug-in. Do you have Flash installed?
Not sure what format the video is created in, but usually Flash is something you need to have installed on your browser to watch videos. HTML 5 is the future, but I don't think Nirvana created the video in HTML5 and if they did, you will require a Browser that supports it.
I would check Flash Player plugin for the browser of your choice first. visit Youtube and if you can see videos there, your Flash Player is running fine. If you can't, then you need to install Flash Player for your browser.
I use Chrome for my browser which has Flash built in. No plug-in needed.
Let me know if you resolve it.

Hi Proximo,
thanks again for your help. In fact this problem is a little strange: I´m able to see you-tube-videos and also vimeo-videos (on the vimeo-site) without any problems, but not the nirvana-video on this site.
What I did now is to install the chrome-browser you mentioned and ----- M A G I C ----
Here it works!!!
Whatever happens within my firefox: I thank you very much for your support.

Glad to hear you solved it, but it's always frustrating when you don't know what went wrong with Firefox.
The more plug-ins you have the more things can go wrong.
Chrome has many of the features built into it that Firefox needs plug-ins for. Not saying anything bad about Firefox because it was my favorite browser for years, but now I am so used to the speed of Chrome that I could not go back. :-)
