Possible to put a task into existing project? How?
I keep trying to drag tasks to Projects, only to have the browser reject it. If that's not how you're supposed to do it, what's the right way? Is it possible?

If you drag a task to the Projects list by moving it over the word "Projects" it will become a new project.
If you drag a task to the Projects list by moving it over a project name, it will become a task in that project.
You can also move a task to a project by using the pull down menu at the far right of the task. It's the little box with an arrow pointing down.

That does work, but I was fooled by the fact that my browser (Chrome on Mac) acts as if it's rejecting it -- the task pops back to where it came from. Only just now did I realize that the project info had been added to it. Confusing.

I have no such menu when looking at a task. The menus on the far right are for Area, Schedule, Due Date, Time, and Energy. Nothing that would control which project the task belongs to.
Just now I realized that you meant when the task is closed. Non-intuitive; why is this menu not available when actually editing a task? That's when you'd want to move it.

@sabat
Nirvana is in Beta and they are working out the kinks. When you find something that should work better, just mention it in the suggestions area. Nirvana developers will read it and give you feedback.
Room for improvement in this area for sure and I believe it's in the works.
