I just completed a couple of tasks, marked the project as complete.. went to the logbook and clicked collect, then ok

nothing

clicked collect again, ok, and it worked

repeated the whole thing on another project, same happened

seems to work ok when its just tasks on their own

+1 I notice that sometimes tasks remain after the logbook collects them...

Another thing to mention about the Logbook:

I liked to have a button in the top row to collect completed items when I wanted. Is that gone for good or did I just overlook it?

I am notice that the collect completed items features doesn't take any of my completed tasks away. I am on Chrome 8. Any know issue I am not aware of? Gettin' a wee bit cluttered.

This worked ok for a while and then recently quit working. When you collect completed items, nothing happens

@ phenx right clicking on the logbook allows for collection of completed items without having to change screens.

@Ryan Malone : curious, is this just in the project view rather than next/focus list? You'll notice when you collect items they should be removed from the above lists but will be marked "logged" rather than "completed" within your individual projects. I believe this was added for people who like to see what was logged and when within each project as well as active tasks. I'm not particularly bothered by this - I don't mind seeing all the tasks I set for a project together (completed/uncompleted - even find it useful on occasion) but there should perhaps be an option/collection method for those who prefer not to see them.

For anyone who particularly hates having the logged items on their project view, you can draw a box over the handles of all tasks and drag them to trash in one go - note though that it will remove the items from the logbook also so be cautious if you use the logbook feature.

@Zeshalt - this is a feature that has supposedly been working for the better part of a couple months, but it just wouldn't. I didn't want to spend my day moving stuff to the trash - I wanted to G.T.D. So I switched back to OmniFocus - the development schedule was going way too slow for me to wait and waste time. I'm keeping on eye on it, but Nirvana still has a way to go. I am hopeful.

@Zeshalta - dragging items to the trash can does not get rid of them. Nothing I have tried gets rid of them. It was working until recently. Very annoying as I HATE seeing completed items hanging around.

I have noticed this for the past month or so. Anyone from Nirvana know when we can expect a fix?

    Thanks.

@Vin Thomas - I found out this is a feature, not a bug. The tasks are removed if they are single tasks, but stay in the project folder if they are associated with a project until the project is completed. The issue for me is it is impossible to get rid of them, so we have no choice but to keep them. Not the biggest problem in the world, but I'd still rather move them as I don't like looking at them.

Yeah, the plan is to be able to hide logged items from the project view, but we haven't gotten to it yet. Tossed a coin and decided to show them vs hide them for now. But I agree, it's annoying.

@Elbert, as I mentioned in another thread on the same subject, a checkbox to show/hide completed tasks in the projects view would be very nice! Because sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't. ;)
