Hi,

I'm using firefox, and as of late yesterday, when I click on the down arrows to the right of my tasks, the pull-down menus are not appearing.

As always, my gratitude for an awesome GTD interface,

Zach

    Hi Zach,

Can I ask if this is happening in all views or in a specific view? Does this happen when you have a lot of tasks that that view?

Just a side note re: browser performance - on PC, Chrome (last stable version) is the best browser right now to use. Performance has been super snappy. For the Mac, Safari has proven to be best.

    thanks,
    C

    Hi Christiane,

It works in all views, if I understand correctly. - Today, Next, one-line,
two lines, or "infinity sign"... It also happens in both Chrome and
    Firefox.

    Thanks,

    Zach

I should also add - this problem occurs on two different computers. I use Chrome and Firefox on both. One uses Windows 7, the other uses XP.

I thought it might be a problem with Javascript, but it's enabled.

Is no one else having this issue?

    Hi Zach,

So this problem is happening everywhere for you and since a specific date, can I ask approximately how many tasks do you have in Nirvana, and did you enter in a lot of tasks around the time that this issue started? Thanks for helping me help you figure this out!

And, yes... anyone else out there having similar issues as Zach?

    You are correct, Christiane.

I would estimate I probably have around 200-300 tasks throughout the
different areas of focus, but nothing particularly massive happened around
the time when the problem started. I don't remember it exactly, but I think
it was after the 9th - as I recall, I had seen your tweet about an update
coming soon, and the first few days the problem happened, I just figured it
was an update wrinkle that would sort itself out soon.

One more thing: When I add a task to "Waiting for", after I assign a name in
the dialog box that comes up and hit enter, the app hangs. I always have to
cancel out now. This started happening at the same time as the pull-down
    issue.

Even more info, in case it helps - I just tried my account on a random Mac
with Firefox, and the pull-down menus still did not work.

    Continued weird behavior:

If I click into a specific project, the project's pulldown (with the gear
next to it) DOES work, but the task-specific pull-downs do not.

Hi Zach - I think I know what the problem is. Will look into today as an urgently needed fix. I do believe it is related to the total number of tasks. Thanks for your patience...

Not getting this exact problem, but I get the following error when I use the pull down menus for the tasks:

    "Stop running this script?

A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive."

It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be very annoying. I use IE8. Thanks. Jon
