Nirvana2: Collection of Completed Tasks Not Working
When I go into the logbook and choose the option to collect all completed tasks, it doesn't appear to collect them. I don't know about the other areas, but the completed tasks in the focus area stay right where they are until I manually move each completed project to the logbook.

@JonC
I never use that button, so I don't know if it has bugs. The idea is that it should collect all your completed task from everywhere and move them to the Logbook. If this is not happening, it's probably another little bug in N2.
Keeping the completed task for my Projects is something I really like because I get a sense of the history that took place.
I wish we had two buttons.
"Collect all completed single task" "Collect all completed Project task"
Maybe I need to suggest this idea. Sounds easier than a user preference. :-)

We may have fixed this in the latest build... as a (positive) side-effect of re-working some other underpinnings. Can you confirm that this is still an open bug? We can't reproduce it here.
Thanks!

It still appears to be a bug, at least from the focus area. On a related note, would it be possible to put a similar (but functional, ha ha) button in the trash area to collect completed items? Or at least a button to send items from the logbook to the trash?

@jonc - just out of curiosity... are you aware of multi-select / drag-drop? i know some folks on the forums hate mice, they do have their place. :-)

Elbert, I am aware of multi-select, but I am of the camp that when an item is completed, it should go straight to trash - I know others like to have them hang around. Having to collect them into the logbook and then drag/drop them into the trash is a little bit of a hassle (just a little, not too bad). In the scheme of things, this is a low priority issue - much lower than getting the in-line check boxes (hint, hint).

I experienced the bug as well. It seemed that when it did work, it only collected some completed tasks. I kept trying and then all of a sudden, it worked.

Same thing for me this morning. I hit the collect button and a few showed up in the logbook. Hit it again and another. Hit it again and another. I ended up hitting the collect button three or four times before all the completed tasks were collected.

I can confirm that it doesn't collect the completed items. I am in "All AoF" and it doesn't clear any of the completes for me. Both in Firefox 3.6 and Chrome 8. When I click a bunch of times like @haeffb, some of them disappear (like out of Focus), but not out of Next. And if I use FF, there are fewer completed items NOT moved to logbook than if I use Chrome (even after manual sync). So it seems like there is a not working issue and a not syncing items that moved to the logbook issue.
