When e-mailing tasks to Nirvana, international characters break the input
When e-mailing tasks that contain any of the Swedish letters å, ä or ö, only the characters preceding these are included in the task!

Hi CFW...
this definitely appears to be a bug! Submitting a bug report right now. will let you know once resolved.
Thanks,

I have done some bug testing and it seems this bug is triggered when the email is sent with a charset like ISO-8859-1 (Latin1) and the email contains characters like Åå, Ää or Öö (other characters not tested).
Here are some email headers for the emails I have done the bug testing on. Note that I have changed the email addressed to ***@example.com etc. It seems like the email import has problems with decoding email messages sent in quoted printable [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quoted-printable]?
Plain/text email including headers sent in ISO-8859-1. This email does not show the å, ä and ö characters when imported into Nirvana.
Plain/text email including headers sent in UTF8. This email is imported correct into Nirvana.

Ah, that's true! I changed Gmail to always encode with UTF-8 and then it worked fine.
Btw, nice to see other Swedes using Nirvana! :)

I'm having sporadic luck emailing tasks. I changed gmail to UTF--8 and it did not work. I used Outlook and it worked with one email (with text only) and did not with another (with a link in it, otherwise text).

@Terminado: Do you send the email formatted as plain text or HTML? I'm having better luck with plain text messages.

@Erik, I think it was plain text but may have been RTF. I'll keep trying.

I also succeed with UTF-8 until the bugfix will find into a release. My bug was pointed to your discussion here.
