Blank Screen
I'm getting nothing but blank blue screen when I log in to nirvana 2. Using google chrome, but nothing on firefox either. Niether refresh nor restarting browsers does anything. Yikes!

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and don't have any problem with firefox 4 (minefield) or chromium.
Don't forget that firefox 3.* is not supported and is the default on ubuntu

heh -- that's weird -- I had the "blank screen" on chrome windows 7, but not chrome on windows XP -- latest version of Chrome on both -- and FF4 on both machines were fine.
I did finally clear it up Chrome though...I'm not sure which of this did the trick, but I ended up clearing the application cache (not browser cache) and local storage for both app & account just because I sometimes get heavy-handed :-)
Then when I logged in, all was good.

Chrome on Linux here. Everything was working fine with N2 build 171 last night but then I got the blank screen this morning. I cleared the browsing data (cookies, cache, etc.) in Chrome and everything was back to normal.

Cleared browsing history including cache but excluding passwords for the last hour - fail. Did so again 'from the beginning of time' and... Success! Thank you!

OK. I'm sorry to treat this like 'chat' but if I log out and try to log back in, I get the blue screen again. Clearing browsing history still works, but I'd rather not have to do that every time I want to log in. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
And the comment upstream about firefox was on the money. I forgot that I had 3.xx sinc e I don't really use firefox much. Maybe I need to update.

@John - Since FF4 is now 'live' there really isn't any reason not to update -- and Nirvana and FF 3.x don't get along well in general - they've always only mostly worked at best.
After I started using FF4, I've drifted back to making it my primary browser again (from Chrome)

Hi. Well, after a bit of work, have installed firefox 4. It's exhibiting the same behavior as chrome for linux. If I clear the cache, then I get the login screen. If I log out then try to log back in then I get the blank screen again. Firefox gave me a 'script is busy' message; the number was 982, in case that's helpful.
Thank you.

just clearing the browser cache isn't sufficient
I'm not a linux guy, so I don't know if there are any OS specific items - probably not -
but what you might try is this
For chrome (probably most straight forward to clear this stuff)
visit: https://app.nirvanahq.com and https://account.nirvanahq.com
and make sure that if you are logged-in to either, that you log out of both
click the little wrench to bring up the option settings, select "under the hood" on the left
click the "Contetnt settings" button in the privacy section
then in the "cookies" section click "All cookies and site data"
look for the app.nirvanahq.com folder and delete all the info under that folder and sub-folders; that will likely include local storage, cookies and application caches entries
close the browser window, re-open the browser
then try going back to the app and log in, give it a few seconds to synch -- and let me know what happens
In general, for any browser..... basically trying to clear any and all data related to nirvana (not for your other sites) ...
clear the cache AND delete any cookies for both the above sites
and delete temporary internet files
and delete session cookies
and close ALL browser windows
then re-open the browser and try the login again

I have the same problem as mentioned above. I am currently using Chrome 10 on Win7 64bit. When I clear the cookies, Nirvana2 works. However when I close the browser and open Nirvana2 again, the problem returns.
Off Topic: Repeat feature is awesome!

Hi All -
Just added a troubleshooting paragraph to bottom of the N2 Preview KB article.
http://help.nirvanahq.com/kb/site-updates/nirvana-2-preview
This may help. Let us know.

Followed David's and Elbert's advice. Same problem, as before. When I clear the cache, either manually as per David's instructions, or, by using the handy cache clearer provided in the link courtesy of Elbert , then I can log in. If I log out and try to log back in, though, I get the blank screen. Again, clearing the cache gets me back in. This occurs in both chrome for linux and FF4. Running ubuntu 10.10 and chrome 10.0.648.204.
Does this bug mean that work I do off-line can not be synced since, before I can log back on, I have to clear local data? I don't mind the extra few seconds to clear the cache every time I need to log on, but not being able to work off-line is a more serious problem.
Thank you.

I, too, was experiencing the blank screen in Chrome 10 (Windows 7) yesterday (3/26) and today, but following Elbert's reset link (https://app.nirvanahq.com/reset), that cleared everything up. Thanks for the tip!
