[Bug] Can't drag items from log book to trash
I REALLY need to purge my log book. Sadly when I am trying to grab some items and move them to trash nothing happens
It is like that regardless of how many items I am trying to move.

It's likely something is happening, but it doesn't really reflect clearly in the UI.
It's a bit of a wanker (my opinion) at this point -- and yes it will be changed in the future. (If my assumption of what you are seeing is correct)
When you drag items from the logbook to trash, instead of disappearing from logbook and appearing in the trash, they are actually in showing both places.
When you empty the trash then they will disappear from both places. If you have a lot of trashed-logbook entries, and you would quickly flip back to logbook after you empty the trash, you might see a scenario where the trash is empty, but the logbook still has some of the entries in it (because of the way it processes them at this point) - they will be cleared from the logbook display after a bit ( a few seconds for a 'typical' number of entries).

PS. If you have a serious quantity to process, I might suggest doing them a screen-full at a time to make sure this is the scenario you're encountering.
