Go to the Logbook located on the left side panel and click on
it. After you do that, you'll see a gray button at the top of the
right side panel called 'collect completed items'. Click on it and
you can then select 'OK' to archive all checked (completed)
items.
Logged tasks are left in Projects by design so that you can see
what you've completed on the project. If you really need to get rid
of them, you could probably drag to the trash (although then you'd
have no record of the tasks).

Thanks. I didn't think of looking there!
After I have followed this procedure, I still see 'Logged' tasks in project view. Is there a way of getting rid of them?
