Why can't project tasks be set to Later or Someday?

Is this a bug or a feature that project tasks can't be postponed?

   No this isn't a bug, but it will be a feature. We are realigning how we are treating Projects and Project tasks and this will be possible in the near future. Stay tuned!

   I am not sure I understand your reply.
   

   I would like to be able to enter a task in a project, and then drag it into the later or someday tabs until I figure out when I want to address it . The task should appear in the tab that I dragged it to, and show the tags, etc. It should also appear in the original Project list, with "later", or "someday" ,as appropriate in place of the due/scheduled field..
   

   08/15/10: After using Nirvana for a few days I would like to amend what I said above:

    *  I would like to be able to drag an unscheduled task into "Someday"
    *  I would like tasks scheduled later than today or tomorrow to appear in "Later"

   May not fit with traditional GTD, but seems useful to me as part of a set of online task management tools.

   Is this something like what you plan?
