Is there an "Agenda" context that can be created as per David Allen's recommendations ?

Before Nirvana I used Outlook. One of my most used contexts was "Agenda", which is where you have several sub-contexts listing the people you talk / work with most on a daily basis. This is where next actions pertaining to those people, such as meeting notes meant to be discussed specifically with that person would go.

Is there a feature already present that Im missing that will work for this or is this a potential update?

What I do is create a tag called 'agenda' and attach it to any task I need to discuss with someone else. Then, I put the name of the person it's associated with in the 'note' section of the task. Voila! And you can even search the name of the person so that all agenda items for that person come in to view.

I am trying out a technique where I use @agenda as a context and either put the person's name in the note section, or via the contacts menu add the name in the same area as contexts. Would be better if there were a category called Agenda, similar to Waiting, Someday, Next, etc. I want something where with a quick click or 2 (at most) I can pull up my agenda list for someone who walks into my office.

Still struggling with really utilizing the "agenda" context. Implementing it in the way described by other Nirvana users seems like the best way, but how do you account for agenda items that fall into other contexts?

For example: If I have an agenda context for my boss with a next action of "call boss about meeting date" , this is something that pertains to both the agenda context and the calls context. Do I add the next action to both? How do you guys handle this?

Thanks for the help. I've been doing GTD for over a year now and still haven't managed to use the Agenda context successfully, although it's said to be one of the most useful aspects of GTD.

    Hello,

I simply use that persons name as a context. This way I simply search for that context and I can see all that I'm waiting for them or next actions associated with that person. The agenda part is already in the context with that persons name:
Discuss meeting - Next action; Context: boss
Email about agenda - Waiting for Boss; Context: boss
