Agreed. Any dates you can share with us?

Elbert and Christiane have been quiet on the forums lately, so I imagine this is due to working hard on the next release.
I am also waiting with great anticipation. I just hope they don't add anything too drastic without testing the waters first. I don't think I can survive another "Later" type of feature that destroys my GTD Nirvana. :-) lol
I get mad every time I see the "Later" list to this day. GRRRRRRR.

Rumor has it there will be a new list called "Earlier". Since I'm an amateur time traveler, this will help me a lot.

@Terminado
ROFL
I had to get up and slap my neighbor on that one.
Unless you are serious? AAAAAHHHHHH

Slap your neighbor? I agree!
Maybe it could be an option....but only if you were capable of time travel. :)
Waiting for the upgrade....stay calm.....waiting for the upgrade.....stay calm....

Is there any idea of when this might be released? I know, I know....when it is ready. But are we talking about this month, next month....by the end of the year?

@David
The new update was supposed to release last week If I remember correctly. I would say this month but I am an optimist. :-)

Hi Proximo,
Last week? Wow...maybe it is right around the corner!!

Check the Later list. Maybe the update is there?

That was great, DC! Now maybe I should go and check the Later list....

@Terminado, why don't you tell us the release date and the exact features of the next update? After all, you're probably hanging out somewhere in the future checking out next week's lottery numbers! :)

@Lasse, okay, I know you don't remember this but we had this conversation last year and then, per S.T.T.P. (Standard Time Travel Protocols) I erased your memory, but only after you made me promise that if you ever ask about the next update again I must not reveal the details.
However, there is one feature I can tell you about and I'm very excited about this. It involves nano-technology and the new "white space" spectrum the FCC has just authorized for use that's being described as super-fast wi-fi. With this new technology, we will be able to Get Things Done essentially, by just thinking about them!
Imagine how effective you'll be--by the time you finish writing the task description, it will already be done!
Think "Minority Report" meets "The Matrix" and you've got it.
Another concept considered by the devs, was inspired by our very own Proximo. The devs liked the idea (well, more accurately, they WILL like the idea) of pre-slapping one's co-workers whenever something exciting is about to occur. "Pre-slapping" is so much more efficient," Elbert will say. Unfortunately, this will be rejected for liability reasons.
One final note, on the native iPhone App front, the devs will reject the idea of contracting with a time-travel authorized engineering company authorized to shift the earth's core to create a new ice age. This was considered briefly because, as everyone will come to realize, the new App will only appear when hell literally freezes over.

@Terminado has officially lost it.
You are starting to sound like me. Get some help before it's too late.

@Terminado,
sorry for the late reply but my memory hasn't been the same since our visit last year. I intended to answer you before my trip to the McFlys but I accidentally dragged the task to Later and just forgot about it. Anyways, the week-end was great, Doc Brown sends greetings. He's very excited about the latest flux capacitor designs and says they'll redefine history - literally. While I was there I made sure to check out Nirvana 17.0 and it seems that Proximo has been profiting immensely from the "white space" technology you mentioned ("Started 7463 discussion(s) and made 102,587 replies."). So, good things coming our way - except for the iPhone App that is. But who could've guessed that Google would be taking over Apple...
Anyways, great to be back in the good old times (except for the fact that everything's so slow and feels so, well, 2010). Talk to you later - or earlier. Whatever suits you best!
