Data Backup?
A long while back, Proximo posted a list of MUST haves, (here: http://help.nirvanahq.com/discussions/suggestions/140-nirvana-is-mo...), of which data backup was one of them.
Now that I have most of my life in Nirvana, I'm wondering what the status of this is?
I just did an Export of my data via email, and I'd be at a loss as to how I would ever use that to restore my data. There at least needs to be a .csv or Excel option as well, so that we can each do our own due diligence on protecting our stuff.
I use Mozy to backup my hard drive, and I got a nasty surprise today when I found out that a file I NEEDED wasn't being backed up, so I'm looking at everything with this recent experience in mind.

I'd like to second this request for back up. I just got to the forums & will search some more, but sync'ing with iCal & other calendar apps is also a big request for me.

How do we back up or export our data to iCal, XML and Text?

2 requests here:
a) ability to backup Nirvana data (i.e. Nirvana "db"). +1000
b) ability to export Nirvana data (i.e. excel, cvs, etc). +1
When Elbert mentioned that "Offline Mode" would become a priority I thought we would have a database file somewhere on our HD that we could use for backing up the data (at least in Nirvana format). But Elbert's implementation (described elsewhere) is different from what I had expected (sounds good though) - so I'm don't think we can quite do it yet. (unless Elbert tell us where that file sits).

Can you export from Nirvana 2? I haven't been able to find it yet...

I don't think so. If your main concern is having the data, you can set up a Print To PDF function (built in to Safari, available as a add on program for Win). But even with that, you have to go to several folders to see all of the tasks (Next, Logbook, etc). So not an ideal solution by any means, but easily done once a week.

Quick update on this one folks, as of build 122 (I think) you can now export your data. Go to account settings and click on the Account Settings link.

That's cool. I tried it and it seems to work just fine. That's a big +.
Anyone know if there's an export planned for the current version of Nirvana?
