Nirvana 2: Data Migration

The Nirvana 2 Preview Update states that "When you "migrate" we simply make a copy of your data and load it into Nirvana 2 to give you something to play with. There is no mechanism to merge Nirvana 2 data back into Nirvana 1."

This is OK with me as long as I will never have to go back to Nirvana 1. So my question is will there ever be a time where I will have to go back to Nirvana 1 (where there will be no tasks from Nirvana 2 Preview)? Also, whenever Nirvana 2 Preview becomes Nirvana 2.0-real-working-super-awesome-app-for-everyone-and-not-just-bleeding-edge-folks, will the data be copied from Nirvana 2 Preview to the new version or will I have to start over in that app or pick up the tasks where I left off from Nirvana 1?

Is this an important topic to anyone else or just me? Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

I guess I am wondering how are people out there using Nirvana 2 Preview? Are you using it for your daily tasks or just playing around with test projects and tasks?

It's not just you :) I'm wondering about this to.

Curiosity got the best of me and I migrated my data to Nirvana 2 Preview to poke around. I'm loving the changes but I'm wary to start managing my life with Nirvana 2.

Should I be working in Nirvana 1 or Nirvana 2 Preview?

I am very torn about this myself. I can't handle two systems (N1 and N2), and I must admit, I do really love living on the bleeding edge of such an awesome program, but then there are some things I very much miss about N1. Like being able to email tasks to my N1 Account, and the inline check-boxes (which I was pretty disappointed about discovering AFTER the migration to N2- I don't know where my head was during March of last year or whenever that feature was introduced).
Or the email tickler being sent daily. I really miss that.

I just don't want to miss out on N2's updates, because the UI is fantastic, and overall, for some reason, I really enjoy it more then N1. And the support is awesome from the whole Nirvana Team. They are working like super-humans on it and their effort shows in the responses. I don't like the idea of working in the N1 app without any real support.

So I'm torn and indecisive and I'm thinking about outsourcing everything involving managing, scheduling, organizing, calendaring, and the like, and follow that with also hiring a full-time nanny for myself. Because that would be an appropriate response to deciding between Nirvana Beta and Nirvana Preview :)

    For now, back to work.
