Compound Context Filtering

I have a question about how to do compound context filtering.

If I look at my Today view right now, I only see @calls listed. I'm assuming this is because in my Today list, only the tasks listed have that context. Is that correct?

My question is, from my Today list, given that only the @calls context is listed, how do i then get my @agenda items or do a compound filter, like @agenda + person's name?

This is now a priority for me so I don't have to remember that I jotted something down on a piece of paper and then forget to discuss it with them.

You are correct. In your Today list or any list for that matter, you will only see the context listed on the top that relate to the task shown on that current list.

You can hold Crtl key and choose multiple context but only if they are available to choose from.

Why don't you switch to your Next list and then choose the compound context you wish. If you don't have task listed in the Today list with the context you want to select from, you need to switch to a list that will show them.

Not sure if that made sense.

I have a question for you.

Why are you still using N1? It's not been in development for a very long time and it's about to be discontinued. Switch to N2 as soon as you can. :-)

OK Proximo, got the compound context filtering figured out now.

I've stayed with N1 because features were missing in N2, such as email to Inbox. I see that this is now working. Is there anything significant missing that I need to know about before switching?

    You are missing. :-)

Just kidding. I don't know what the feature difference is between them anymore.

    heh - me either, LOL

The only things that come to mind is being able to support N2 in IE natively (IE 8+ without ChromeFrame) and the email ticklers. There may be others, but I can't think of them off-hand.

Other things may be implemented differently, even though they are in N2.

    There's a @#$%-load of things in N2, that aren't in N1.

    David,

I'm officially pulling the plug on N1 today.

If something majorly goes wrong, don't forget that I know where you (and Proximo) live. ; -)

P.S. Does that mean that you're going to be on this season's Top Shot?

Yep, that should work - I'm from the Detroit area originally myself.

I wold LOVE to be on Top Shot. Not sure how good I would do, but it would be a blast.

I compete on several shooting leagues and it's a bunch of fun. But I am a peaceful man.

Isn't that what the neighbors always say on the news after someone goes off the deep end?

P.S. You should try out for Top Shot, or figure out what to do to get your name in the pool. You just never know. You know Guy Fieri, the food guy? He lives in the same town as me and there's a gal here in town that won on Cupcake Wars. You could be the next star on Versus or the History Channel!
