what to do with completed (done) tasks from the FOCUS view ?
I would like to keep them visible under their respective project so I can see what I have done under each project, but I dont want to see them in the focus list.
- thrash
- archive
- anything else?

You're in luck... completed and logged items remain visible at the bottom of project views. Go ahead and drag completed items from Focus to Logbook.

@jakob
Yes, Dragging things to the trash will remove them forever. Just like a trash can.
Moving things to your logbook will log the task like a history view of what you have done. This is great for productive people but bad for procrastinators.

Shouln't there be a button to just quickly move all completed from Focus to Logbook. Dragging each one seems a bit tedious. Or a preference setting to do this autoamtically either directly or once per day?

@Folkie - I don't know if you know this but you can select multiple items and then just drag them all over to the logbook.
Move your cursor to the left of the first item you want to select, depress the left mouse button, and then drag the cursor over to the right until the items are shown as green and then select as many as you wish. Then just drag and drop them into trash or logbook etc.
Sorry if you already knew this, but when you talked about draggin 'each one' I figured I'd mention it.

Thanks Chris - kind of you to help :-)
But even if a can multi-select and drag, the fact remains that I don't want to see the completed tasks in the Focus view (possibly in the Project view, though) and the most convenient way to get rid of them once and for all would be via a preference setting, but maybe a simple "clear" button could be a compromise for everyone.
It is nice to be able to get them back from the Logbook, though, in case I check anything off accidentally.

Chris Webb -- I can't trigger the multi-select functionality you mentioned (dragging to right); my items don't turn green when I do that. Is that feature in v2?

@Mike - Hi there. Yes, the functionality I'm referring to is in Nirvana 2 - I haven't used N1 for some considerable time.

@Folke
Just right click the mouse on the logbook and choose "Collect Completed Items"
This will move all completed task to the logbook. Be careful, this also collects completed task from all list as well.
