Break project up into individual tasks
I can see where this might come in handy if I've decided that I don't want to group a bunch of tasks together. I know I can individually move said tasks to Next or whatever, but it might be nice to have them moved all at once without having to do this for every one.
Likewise, there might be times where you would want to move multiple tasks into a new project. Seems like thee is currently no multi-select function in Nirvana, and maybe this would be adding too much complexity, so I'm not sure about this one...

@Levi, just click a bit to the left of a task's "handle-bar", and drag the "square" around the handle bars. This way you can multi-select a bunch of tasks that are grouped together. If you want to multi-select tasks that are not next to each other, press Ctrl and then use the same process. Not the most elegant solution but it works.

Wow, thanks, I had no idea you could do that!

It's not the easiest way to implement multi selection, but it's all we got right now. I would like to click on the task and then hold Ctrl or Shift to select others. This is what most people would try by default because it's a standard way of doing it with our computers.
Hopefully this would be tweaked down the road.

I hope so, too. As an added benefit, you could get rid of the handlebars altogether, which would make Nirvana's appearance even cleaner and more clutter-free.
I like how it's done in Flow - which, I have to say, is one of the few things I like about it. Click anywhere on a task to move it up or down or into another list (or onto a tag, for that matter), and Ctrl-click to select multiple tasks. Works nicely.
