don't want to confirm archive items each time

Every time I archive items from my current view, I get a popup box warning. I don't want to click through that box every time - I find it very distracting and annoying.

1) I don't really need this. I know what archiving does.
2) If I make a mistake, I can easily go in the archive and drag stuff out.
3) If you insist that #2 above isn't enough, than display a simple "undo action" link after things are archived, giving me the opportunity to undo if I want, but not bothering me if I meant what I did. Just like when I archive in gmail.

Can you explain what you mean by Archive?

I don't get any boxes on the UI when using N2.

I don't know what you mean by N2 (I'm new to this). When I hover on the logo, it reads "Nirvana 1 Build (build 861)". Am I using the right thing? Here's what it does to me (5 second video): http://screencast.com/t/wwgfrCvK

Ah yes, N1 Archive = N2 Logbook (sort of) -- you'll still get a confirm message in N2.

We've discussed having an 'experts' mode, or user pref to turn off some messages, in the past.

It's on the list, but not terribly high on the list at this point - and yes, I find it annoying myself. But it's helpful for people new to the application.

N1 is the first generation of Nirvana. N2 is the second generation of Nirvana. At some point Nirvana Developers decided to start N2 and gave users the choice to jump to this Alpha version of the software.

N2 is not terribly different than N1 but it has many tweaks that make it better. N2 eventually become the Beta version that Nirvana was developing and N1 development stopped. All the latest innovation and features are added to N2 and not N1.

I though all users of N1 migrated to N2 already or that it would have been automatic but I guess I am wrong about this.

David will be able to explain how and if you can move to N2 which is the "Real" Nirvana app. What do I mean by that? When Nirvana goes live, it will be the N2 version and will be renamed NirvanaHQ and N1 will be retired.

    Hope that helps.

Ah, that does help. I just went and upgraded to N2.

I originally signed up for nirvana only about a week ago. At that time when I downloaded the app, it was the N1 app. So I'm not sure where I got it from, but it must be outdated. But I'm good now, thanks.
