While on the subject of shortcuts:

I would like to be able to mail a task to myself with all notes attached to it. This will allow me to update my CRM system from my mailbox with the details of the task.

Properly time stamped (see my other proposal) this will give me a full contact history in my CRM systems (I use both SalesForce and SugarCRM). The biggest advantage is that I can stay within the functionality of Nirvana for all my contact tasks.

So please ....: shortcut "m" to mail all task details to myself!

Or a preferences setting that mails the task with all details to myself upon completion.

    Hi Jos,

We'll be releasing Themes in the near future along with a "Themes SDK". If you know some CSS you'll be able to make your own skin. We'll let you know once up and ready.

    thx!

I am sorry. I am no expert in CSS.

For me I would wish Nirvana would focus on getting GTD compliant and go with the workflow of the users.

On the subject of mailing tasks...

I have a colleague that also uses Nirvana. We have both seen and used the feature that lets you create a task by mailing it to yourself. But we could not assign tasks to each other by using the "Assign to" function and writing each other's Nirvana specific e-mails. I am not sure whether this is something that should work, but it would seem like a nice feature and natural development of the function that lets you mail actions to yourself.

@e.liffe - we are working on a delegate --> accept/decline feature. we actually had it at one point but we built it wrong and it didn't scale. will be restoring this in the near future, along with shared projects.
