Hi Chris,
thanks for you suggestion. Once we get the core GTD features down, some other features we have planned on the roadmap and open up the API framework to the dev community I'm more than positive this will happen!
Either way, I have made note of your suggestion and added it to our big bucket o' ideas.
thanks again and hope you are enjoying Nirvana

Google calendar integration for tasks with dates would be very nice and definitely win me over. Love the Nirvana clarity in design!

I agree with Chris, gcalendar integration would be great! Or at least, a Nirvana calendar for events and tasks with due dates, syncronized with our e-mail.
Ok, I know this seems a letter to Santa... but then I believe Nirvana would be perfect.

This would really be a great thing. Love the interface of the app. Web 2.0 really opens up the possibility for integration like this. Combining a great/intuitive task manager with a competent calendar... wow, that's so nice.

Making it a google app would help.

Gcal is essential for keeping many people sane on the long run ;)

Gcal integration must be one of the the most important features to a lot of users but It also needs to be none right. Some of the other task/to-do sites out there, put a little icon to click into Gcal, that then shows you what task's you have that day. A better way of doing it is to fully integrate the tasks in there own calendar so not only tasks with due dates show up but tasks with due times are displayed at the correct time and duration. One site I have found that does this well is episodecalendar.com.
Love what you've done so far :-).

One of the reasons why I jumped ship from Remember the Milk is because of the GTD focus, but I do miss no Google Calendar (and also Gmail) integration. I hope somebody is prepared to spend some time on this once the APIs are released.

Love Nirvana so far, keep up the good work.

I would loooove this too. However, be careful. People seem to have found their own little usages for 'due date' and 'scheduled date'. Do they appear in different google calendars? Only scheduled for? Only due date? There are a lot of questions around this one.
Personally, I use 'scheduled for' as a start date for when something is available to be done, and 'due date' as the deadline for when it has to be done. As long as I do it anytime in between, I'm good.

+1 I would like this too. Sometimes seeing things on my calendar makes me more likely to do them ;)

Gmail Calendar integration and an Android would definitely switch me from RTM.
Thanks

I've posted this elsewhere but I use Fluid for Mac to get a side by side of Nirvana with the mobile version of google calendar. Not integrated per se, but having them on the same window visually helps make it easy to see my calendar for the day and my next actions together, and get scheduled items into both apps
