Inline editing of tasks, start dates/ticklers?

What are everyones thoughts on inline task editing? Would you like to see it be implemented - I myself am undecided after seeing how nicely the popup seems to work, however the inline editing on Toodledo is nice (albeit slightly unresponsive for me)?
Also, would it be possible to implement some sort of tickler system, possibly by using start dates where the task will show up in the next list only on that date? Any suggestions on your opinions on how this could be done would be great.
Looks great so far ;)

Until there is some kind of tickler or "start date" implemented, you can simply label the task "review xxxxx" and assign a future date, at which time that task will appear in your Today list. The underlying task isn't due on that date but a review is.

That's what I'm doing for now.

Ah very nice, will be a great temp solution.
    Any official plans on this?

I just read they are working on having scheduled tasks (and recurring tasks) in the left Navi, so we will have a START date and a DUE date. We can use the START date as a tickler, review, etc.

    Hello...

in a previous incarnation of Nirvana (super early version) we had inline task editing. We suspect this will come back as more options are added to tasks once scheduled/recurring is added. I personally like the idea and think it a good one

TBD if Scheduled will be a Focus in the left hand navi... but the feature is definitely on the roadmap and in the works.

    thanks!
