Currently there are several time increments which is cool but I needed to add a task that I wanted to allot 3 hours to. Unfortunately I cannot do that because it is hard coded to 2 or 4 hours.

It would be nice to allow for manual entry of time increments.

Fair enough. Just keep in mind that our goal is not so much accurate forecasting so much as providing a quick way to filter based on available time on hand. Ergo, it's not critical for filtering to say that something will take 55 minutes, when rounding to an hour is close enough to say "I have 2 hours left in the day, show me only the tasks that can be accomplished in that available time. "

That said, adding an option for 3 hours won't clog up the works. Will see about adding that as an option in the next release.

@Elbert - This is also an example of a minor feature that if made customizable behind the scenes would make Nirvana really powerful.

    Hi @Dan,

We just launched a release today that took care of some fixes. You'll be happy to hear that the Task Time menu now has more options

    • 5min
    • 10min
    • 15min
    • 30min
    • 45min
    • 1h
    • 2h
    • 3h
    • 4h
    • 6h
    • 8h

and our fav, "whoa nelly" option is still there. :)

@Dan & @DC - do you still feel you'd want to be able to set more time options in a user pref?
