Email us when the updates come?
I think I remember when we had the last big update I found out mostly from checking the help and blog everyday or so and then one day the Gods smiled and there was a notice about the update. But I don't think I would have known about it if I didn't check the blog and discussion groups. I've been checking daily for the new long, long, long awaited update for days, weeks and months. I know you don't want to give us any time frame for when we can expect it. But, can you send all of a a blast email announcement when that beautiful day arrives?

Use feedblitz to get the email via their RSS feed.

Nirvana will usually send an update to their Twitter Feed that point to their Blog for the update information.
Follow them on Twitter and you should be fine. If you don't like Twitter, I think Ryan has a great suggestion.

Or just use Google Reader. I have Nirvana under the "GTD" folder in my RSS feeds, so whenever there is a post on the Nirvana Blog page, I get it on my MobileRSS app on the iPhone. That works very well for me personally. But I can see the benefit of having the possibility to subsrcibe to news and updates in email form from the Nirvana team. So +1 from me to your suggestion @smatlanta :-).

I wouldn't wait for a blog post. In the past it has sometimes taken a couple of days until an update was announced on the blog. Twitter works better!
