I think the "due date" looks much better with "padding: 1px 4px 2px;".

    Or with "padding: 0px 4px 2px;".

More input regarding the due date. In the screenshots above, you can see the due dates being due today. But if you have set a due date that is some time in the future. The actual due date is white, against a light grey background. This makes it extremely difficult to see the actual due date. In fact, I have to click it in order to better see the date. And even then it is somewhat difficult with white on grey, but that I can live with.

I am working on a Windows 2003 server configuration where the amount of colors displayed, is less than if I would be working directly on my pc, so that may be the reason why. But regardless, please change the color of the due date or something, so that the contrast between the text and the background is higher.

Quick question to the Nirvana team. Do you want all threads pertaining to 2.0 to be formated like this one, i.e. [Nirvana 2.0] xxxxxxxx. Would perhaps make it easier to distinguish?

...and maybe I missed this, but when I click "Due" (next to effort and energy-level), it does not sort the tasks by the Due Date...it seems to just filter for tasks that have a due date.

Personally I liked to see how many days I have left instead of trying to calculate it myself. "2 Days from now", "Tomorrow", "4 Days Late"

@steven heidel -- yes, it will be back as a pref. we took (more than) a few shorcuts to get this preview out the door sooner rather than later. that and doing the natural language thing has a lot of internationalization implications that we're still ironing out.

Awesome, well I'm glad you took those shortcuts :D

I believe you with the internationalization problems, i18n can be a real pain. It took the open source project I work on about 3 months before we were stable enough for a release, and there's still stuff that I'm refactoring.

@steven - If dropping into the console doesn't scare you (and it might once you see all of the network chatter that is still visibly being output), try entering NIRV.setLanguage('jp') or 'ko' or 'ru' ;-) it's just google translator generated tokens, but it's kinda cool to see where this is all headed. warning this is only for the geeks.

Hey that's cool. I'm going to keep it in korean to impress / confuse anyone looking over my shoulder :D

It's cool how every command is a method of NIRV, this should make it easy for people to greasemonkey their own functionality and so forth.

I can't wait for the API: double mashup heaven :). Right now I can get it to tell me "Hello, this is Nirvana. How may we help you?" lol
