I think logbook actually makes more sense for most people. One of the biggest requests we had for the "archive" was the ability to see a history of when items were completed. A log. And to generate reports of one's action history.
Incidentally, you can now Cancel an action by command-click/alt-clicking on the checkbox, so that you can note an action was intentionally left undone, but still logged as such.
what we're missing, i think, is a "clone new from logged" - or some language to that effect - option. also, the logbook is, as was the archive view always was, a work in progress. i think it will make sense in time (and with improvements)

This is on Nirvana 2... would be a good idea to prefix all subjects with 'Nirvana 2:' or have separate sections in the forum

Regardless of name, the new archive/logbook is a big improvement over the previous static archive.
