Overview of the technology used in Nirvana2?

Hi all,

Thanks again to the Nirvana team for their hard work.

I must say, Nirvana2 is so stinking fast...it blows my mind. I was wondering if someone could provide a brief overview of the technology behind Nirvana2, that makes it act like an application on my laptop.
