Show projects in brackets next to next actions

In the Waiting For list, items that belong to a project are presented as belonging to a project by the project name in brackets next to the item.

In the Next list, projects have separate headings, dividing the entire Next list into several large pieces. This makes it more difficult to get an overview of all actions since your mind puts the actions into separate compartments when going through them. I think a better solution would be to have them in brackets, the same way as in the Waiting For list, or at least make that choice optional.

    Hello e.Liffe,

thanks for your suggestion. As features get added and the UI becomes more robust with these features we'll be tweaking things here and there in the task and project views. I have made note of your suggestion for the dev team.

    Thanks!

+1 on the ability of knowing when a task belongs to a project and which project it is.

It's also nice to only show the Next Action of each project on the list to keep your focus on the task you need to complete to move things forward in your projects.

+1 Just to make the connection, this suggestion is a part of the overall Unified Next list scheme that has been talked about many, many times. Usually, the comparison is made to the Today list, but the Waiting For and the Scheduled lists also use that syntax. And that is what the Next list should look like.

@Elurven, out of curiosity, when you say the project is in brackets, do you mean that literally? In every browser I use, the project is not in brackets, but is colored blue and can be clicked to view the project in the Project list. Are there browsers that can't display that? Again, just curious.

@roddyt Of course you are right, the project name is presented in a pleasant blue color next to the task. I don't know where I got the bracket idea really ;-).
