idea: multiple notes

I used to work with a simular but far worse website producteev.com. There is one feature though I do miss (in Nirvana):
multiple notes under one task
very usefull in situations where there are lot's of small updates under one task over a longer period of time because each update is easily visible and enriched with a timestamp for each update.

I have been asking for a time stamp feature in the task notes because it's a nice way to keep tabs on the progress and details of what is going on.
If there was a simple little button or keyboard shortcut that would create a time stamp, I would be happy.
I do think it's a neat idea if each time stamp created a container inside the notes area with a light grey background so that each of them stands out. I think this is what you are saying and that would be very cool.

I can almost see it in my mind. A note area with grey containers of date stamped updates.
WHY DID YOU MENTION THIS?
I want it now, so bad.

I have asked for this before and please let me copy the notes and add this as a contact history in my CRM system (Salesforce and Sugar)
