Add Nirvana to the Chrome Web Store (when Nirvana is ready)

Hi there--I think it would be great to have Nirvana in the Chrome Web Store. That way users can save their preferences for how Nirvana displays (in a new window, as a tab, or as a pinned tab, which is my preference).

It also opens up the ability for Nirvana to give the user notifications through Chrome.

Since I couldn't wait I went ahead and made a manifest and an icon based on the FluidApp icon; I was able to add it through the Extensions page in Chrome using the "Load unpacked extension" option.

Hope this saves you a few minutes down the road once Nirvana 2 is released to the public. :)

Oh, and if others want to read about the API, here's a link:

    This is so cool!

I just started using the chrome web store the other day, and the notifications API is absolutely amazing!

I use just about everything Google offers. I like the Web Store and the idea of having a market place for finding great web apps. Makes things easier. I also like the way web apps show up in the new tab page.

I signed up for the Chrome OS Pilot program because 90% of my computing is done with Chrome in the cloud. :-)

I agree, although I think that adding a 'beta app' would be nice and then perhaps relaunching it when the final version is ready.
