Icon for sequential/parallel projects
I suggest you make it easier to see whether a project is parallel or sequential when listing all projects.
You could place an icon next to a projects name indicating what type it is.
The same goes when I am in a project - if the project has no actions, you cannot really see whether it is parallel or sequential until you start editing the project.

+1 good suggestion Dafyren. Maybe even add an icon for projects without any actions, to indicate that it's stalled. This way when you view all your projects in the left navi panel, you have an overview of all your projects' status.

+1 On both suggestions above. Furthermore, I would suggest that the standard project icon is kept on the section "Projects" but that every actual project below gets another icon, depending on the nature of the project (i.e. sequential or parallel). These two different icons can be variations of the current project icon.

All great ideas.
This can be implemented as soon as we have a "Default Project Type" feature. :-)
I want my project default, "Sequential". I will NEVER have a "Parallel" only project, so I won't use this type. When Nirvana allows for combo projects that support both sequential and some parallel task, I am in.
I do agree with the ideas here on how to distinguish between them.
+1

+1 from me, too on the icon and the default project type - I've got 1 parallel, the rest are sequential.
I know Elbert was planning on the icon already.
Added to the list.
